I recently discovered this Gem (Brahmi leaves) I had never heard nor eaten it before.Since I get very less leafy Indian vegetables in my vicinity I crave and want more of it and make sure that my son also experience all the leafy Indian vegetables which I grew up eating.I always spotted Brahmi leaves bunch in Asian store but never knew what could be done with that. And suddenly I see a fresh stock of leafy Indian vegetables in the store and couldn’t resist buying this.I thought at least I could chop and make parathas out of it. Asked a few friends and found out it’s called as Brahmi /Ondelaga (In Typical South Canara) and made this TAMBLI/TAMBULI out of it. Trust me on this who have never noticed it like me before, go and get it.
Filled with lots of nutrients, it’s the best for brain development and has numerous health benefits.During Pregnancy and Postpartum is also highly recommended eating Brahmi /Ondelaga.
Made this Tambli which is not only fuss free but also delicious and I’m sure it’ll be added in your routine often.
